Oral Sedation

 Oral Sedation is a great choice for a patient who want more than Nitrous, but do not want to be put to sleep with IV sedation. Oral sedation is a prescription pill that our office sends to the pharmacy for you. With oral sedation you will feel very relaxed and sleepy during your procedure - some even fall asleep. Most patients after taking oral sedation forget most of their appointment.  Oral sedation is an excellent way to offer comfort and reduce anxiety during a short or long dental procedure.

Oral sedation does take several hours to wear off so you will need a driver to and from your appointment and will want to stay home the remainder of the day.
