Nitrous Oxide

Nitrous oxide- often known as laughing gas, is an excellent choice of sedation for someone who would like the effect of anxiety relief but wants it to wear off quickly after the procedure. Nitrous Oxide is a safe and effective way to relieve dental fear, while allowing the patient to remain awake and able to respond to the Doctor. It is delivered through a comfortable nose mask and works quickly to offer a mild sedated effect. 

Since Nitrous wears off quickly, this allows the patient the ability to drive themselves to and from their appointment if they choose to and can go back to work or usual activities following.
