IV Sedation

Sleep through dental procedures is possible! 

IV sedation is a great choice or patients who have severe dental anxiety or are undergoing a long procedure. It also is ideal for patients with large treatment plans and would like to perform multiple procedures in one visit. IV sedation is form of conscious sedation to help you feel relaxed and comfortable during your procedure. This sedation is administered intravenously, which means through your vein. It works very quickly and allows a long period of amnesia so you will not remember the procedure when you wake up. This is the highest level of sedation for a dental procedure.

IV sedation allows Dr. Ho to perform multiple procedures in one visit so you will not have to keep coming back for multiple appointments. IV sedation does take several hours to wear off. You will need a driver to and from your appointment and will need to take the day off of any activities.
