What is Dermafill?

Dermafillers are now the third most popular cosmetic procedure in the United States, and they are becoming more popular all the time.

The term dermafill, as it sounds, refers to “filling in” the wrinkles and folds of the skin to result in a more youthful appearance.

Patients can now look forward to longer lasting results with less chance of skin reaction or negative side-effects.

One of the biggest questions people have about dermafillers is how much it costs to have them done.

The fee is based per syringe of filler, and currently runs from $400-$600 per syringe.

Most patients receive one to four syringes per visit. The amount of filler used depends on the depths of the skin folds or wrinkles.

Generally speaking, one treatment may cost $700-$1200, based on an estimate of two syringes per treatment. Generally, this procedure needs to be repeated every eight to twelve months, depending upon the depth of the folds and skin type of the patient.

While it may be expensive to have a dermafill, it does offer a more permanent solution than fancy wrinkle creams or anti-aging supplements.
